Job Description

We are now inviting application(s) for the following post in the President’s Office:

Manager (Mainland and International Affairs) (Ref: 200005H)

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of President’s Office, the appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the Head of Mainland and International Affairs Office in the planning, coordination and implementation of mainland development activities;
  • Planning and organizing meetings, visits, conference and exchange activities, both locally and in the Mainland, and liaising with related internal and external stakeholders;
  • Providing secretarial support to committees;
  • Supporting projects undertaken by the Office; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the Director of President’s Office or his/her nominee. 

 

Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a recognized degree with at least 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector;
  • familiar with Mainland education environment and development;
  • strong project management and program management skills and ability to prepare progress report in an efficient manner;
  • good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • good computer proficiency; and
  • self-motivated with strong organization and communication skills.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test.

 

Candidate with less qualification and experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Manager (Mainland and International Affairs).

 

Compensation Package

Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.
