Reporting to the Associate Director of MDS Operations Finance, this position is responsible for the timely accurate reporting of capital, inventory, savings, operation costs and manufacturing variances. The Manager of Op’s Finance will be responsible for Monthly Close Activities including facets of Manufacturing Variance Analysis and Management Reporting, and is involved with the Quarterly forecasts. This position also works very closely with each of the Manufacturing Plants and the Operations Finance Team.Job Description

Monthly Actual Reporting and Analysis of Manufacturing Variances, Capital, Inventory, and savings
Including:
- Plant Variances
- Purchase Price Variances
- Divisional Spending
- Freight In
- Foreign Exchange Gain or Loss on OEM Products
- Capitalization and Amortization of Manufacturing Variances
- Prepare monthly Variance and Flash report summaries and review with management
- Capital spending
- Inventory Balances
- Change to Win
Support the process for developing Quarterly Forecasts for Manufacturing Variances including:
- Purchase Price Variances
- Divisional Spending
- Freight In
- Foreign Exchange Gain or Loss
- Capitalization and Amortization of Manufacturing Variances
Monthly reporting of Capital spend including:
- Monthly consolidated MDS capital spend
- Capital budgeting & forecasting
- Quarterly Capital Spend site reviews
- Provide CB2 guidance and approval matrix
- Coordinate CB2’s for large capital committee
- Provide support to business teams as needed.
- Responsible for the preparation of special analysis as required by Management
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field, with a minimum of 5 years FP&A or Accounting experience.
- Both Finance and General Accounting knowledge are required as well as effective organization, planning and interpersonal skills.
- Manufacturing knowledge a plus
- Must be able to successfully operate with minimal supervision
- SAP,BPC & HFM experience preferred
- Strong proficiency with Excel, as well as proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Knowledge of capital budgeting, including IRR / NPV principals and product costing methodologies
