The Opportunity:
To manage reporting associated with finance, operations and to support the business to develop and execute key strategic initiatives.
The role would support preparing board packs and regular business reviews with feedback to Agency and the NZ Exco

About the role:
Some responsibilities include:
Work with our teams to ensure delivery against the strategic direction set by the Head of Aligned Advice and Steering Commitee. This includes setting clear targets, financial planning, and risk management
Proactively seek opportunities to improve, develop and enhance our offering to Advisors
Work with HO Aligned Advice, Legal, Risk and Agency services to build and implement partner relationships
Lead and oversee adviser onboarding processes with Adviser Development Manager, Adivser Relationship Coordinator, PI Risk and Compliance and Agency Services, including status reporting fo the aligned channel
Work alongside HO Aligned Advice and stakeholders to maximize the build and effectiveness of a preferred leads process
Work with operational areas to ensure that effective processes exist and are maintained for all business support activities
Provide regular clear reporting to the Head of Aligned Advice and other relevant stakeholders on business and team performance in line with business objectives
Establish key performance indicators that align with AIA's operating philosophy and organizational objectives
Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by Head of Aligned Advice in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Understanding of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
5-7 plus years experience in senior management in business preferably within insurance or financial services
Proven experience of working within a financial services regulatory environment, ideally insurance
Knowledge of regulatory and legal matters affecting insurance
