As a Payroll & Benefits Manager you will be responsible for leading approx. 10 Payroll & benefits Advisors to provide a high quality, professional Payroll & Benefits service to all of the BMW UK entities, approx. 8000 employees. You will mentor and coach the team, holding regular 1-1’s and ensuring a good communication with the team with key information and expectations. You will ensure any issues or queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently and resolutions are implemented quickly to prevent reoccurrence as well as monitoring the accuracy of the payroll to ensure it meets the SLA requirements. You will be a subject matter expert for Payroll providing expertise to HR and the business as well as excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and laws. You will lead payroll projects to proactively look at ways to drive change within the team through simplification, standardisation and automation.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Ideally CIPP/CIPD qualified
  • Solid UK Payroll/Benefits/Time steering experience
  • Strong SAP experience
  • Strong analytical skills and organized in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with good attention to detail & precision oriented    
  • Strong Excel skills
