This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Chairman of Portfolio Management Committee to rationalizing PAL existing portfolio, ensuring a robust process on portfolio review and provide actionable strategy support to companies goals specific to existing product.

  • Develop report to aid in strategies and action plans to achieve the existing products’ business goals as aligned with the overall company directives.
  • Maintains Product Inventory as part of Product Governance Charter on an annual basis and submit to IC (As of  March 2020)
  • Coordinates with AIA Group Product Development Innovation Team on regular updates on NB Portfolio Assessment  in coordination with Experience studies team ( Recently update as of  November 2020)
  • Facilitates regular Portfolio Management Committee (PMC) meeting
  • Help drives strategies and plans to address existing product portfolio’s profitability
  • Manages portfolio performance review
  • Ensures that all project information is properly cascaded PMC and its stakeholders.
  • Supervises BUs or Special Project team to ensure that deliverables are executed based on agreed quality standards and timeliness.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the CMO and Head of Products in order to meet operational and/or another requirement.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education – BS Math Major in Actuarial Science
  • Experience – At least 5 years working experience preferably in the field of Product Management or Product Pricing; exposure to executive and senior management
  • Special skills – Excellent strategic & analytical thinking, Excellent Project Management skills, good interpersonal skills, and communication skills,  Very good planning & organizational skills, Strong knowledge on insurance products
