Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • To assist in managing the processes of joint venture (“JV”) development project tendering, formulating and reviewing as necessary the related strategy and program, co-ordination with other divisions for the preparation of expression of interest invitation brochure, development agreement, tender document and contract for execution
  • To assist in providing inputs for amendments to the policies, procedures etc. related to JV development project tendering
  • To review procurement documents, advise on tendering and contracting matters, act as Technical Review Panel member in assessing tender submissions, assist in seeking approval from the relevant authority, and draft and compile contract documents for execution for all divisions/departments on procurement of services, works and material supply contracts
  • To assist in drafting policies, procedures, manuals, etc. for effective management and control for procurement of services, works and material supply contracts
  • To handle project legal services for assisting the Authority in deed of mutual covenant approval application, pre-sales consent application and compliance matters of the Residential Properties (First-hand Sales) Ordinance
  • To provide legal support to the team in preparing and vetting tender documents and contract documents between the Authority and its consultants/ service providers/ contractors

 

Requirements:

  • A solicitor admitted in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
  • Minimum 6 years’ post-qualification legal experience in property, commercial and land transactions matters, especially in project conveyancing
  • Exposure to indirect procurement and/or revenue tendering is an added advantage
  • General knowledge of property development and construction practices in Hong Kong
