Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To review procurement documents, advise on tendering and contracting matters, act as Technical Review Panel member in assessing tender submissions, assist in seeking approval from the relevant authority, and draft and compile contract documents for execution for all divisions/departments on procurement of services, works and material supply contracts, especially for information technology, innovation and technology-related requisitions
  • To input and assist in drafting policies, procedures, manuals etc. for effective management and control for procurement of services, works and material supply contracts
  • To maintain contract commitment records and perform data analysis
  • To assist in establishing the procure-to-pay and other e-procurement systems

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder
  • Candidate should have either:
    • Relevant procurement, information technology, commercial, engineering or other equivalent professional qualifications plus 8 years’ post-qualification experience in the related field; or
    • at least 15 years’ relevant work experience in procurement, information technology, commercial, engineering related field
  • Hands-on experience in technology-related procurement is a must.
  • Experience in drafting contracts is required.
  • Working knowledge of contract law is an added advantage.
