China sets new world leading standards in terms of automated driving (ADAS and Autonomous Driving) at an incomparable speed. This fast pace development is strongly driven by IT giants who aim to enter the automotive industry and by that expanding their business scope and unlimitedly their customer base. In this new and constantly changing competitor environment, offering China adequate automated driving features is crucial for BMW to fulfill future market needs. Due to the high important, “ADAS” and Autonomous Driving is a vital part of the overarching Strategy Number One Next and discussed on highest management level in China and HQ. The position will be single point/responsible for BMWs overall ADAS/Autonomous Driving strategy and formulating product requirements. He / she will work closely with relevant stakeholder in HQ and BMW China (EG-CN, C5-CN-V, CP, CB, EV).

Moreover, the person is responsible for BMWs overall ConnectedDrive and Digitalization strategy by defining and setting up China relative product requirements through understanding and analyzing the IT environment, competitors and customer demands. He / she will work closely with relevant stakeholders in HQ and BMW China related departments (EG-CN, CIS, CP) to ensure that the right digital content is offered, that the offered services are competitive and also fulfill premium customer demands.
The skill set of the hired person includes a thorough understanding of the industry, regulatory requirements, government activities, relevant competitor and customer requirements plus a comprehensive technical understanding. Moreover, the person will be responsible to drive digital requirements for in car connectivity topics.

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and steering overall ADAS and Autonomous Driving.
- Definition of future market specific product requirements for ADAS and Autonomous Driving.
- Monitoring & analyzing major competitors' development in China regarding ADAS and Autonomous Driving and forecast industry trend and mega direction.
- Co-operation with engineering team & product management in Germany to set China-fit ADAS and Autonomous Driving product requirements.
- Definition of future market specific product requirements which reflect Chinese IT environment development & competitors' move, plan and steer overall digitalization topics,
- Build solid ConnectedDrive and Digitalization offer strategy & tactic across all the BMW products.
- Close cooperation with engineering team to update product and service offer to improve product competency.???????????????????????????????????
- Attending conferences and meetings related to ADAS, Autonomous Driving issues, ConnectedDrive and Digitalization topics and deliver China product requirements.
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
- Bachelor degree or above in Automotive Engineering.
- At least 4-6 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing and/or Product Planning.
- Good knowledge of market analysis and good sense of auto market.
- Good product knowledge and high affinity for product related issues.
- International orientation with ability to work in a cultural diverse environment.
- High flexibility to work on multi task assignments & fast learning.
- Long term commitment of career.
- Strategic planning capability & critical thinking.
- Accurate and structured work ethic.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Very good PC knowledge and presentation skill.
