Innovative projects that deliver cutting edge results do not run themselves. Project and Program Management ensures projects run seamlessly, from start to finish. Our team manages projects or leads others managing projects — ensuring cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively. We oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the multi-country Academy Operations project management team with our leadership principles
- Train and equip all Academy Operations project managers with all project management skills needed to effectively deliver results
- Drive the creation of effective success criteria for Academy Operations projects and milestones based on strong business case and operational effectiveness
- Track and report on status of all on-going Academy Operations projects/programs
- Maintain all staff / ext staff agendas to ensure appropriate visibility on all projects
- Create and maintain internal documentation using standard templates and guidelines for all project phase deliverables – e.g. business case, charter, excel model, project plan, work plan, communications plan, stakeholder plan, team presentation, exec presentation, etc.
- Provide consultative project mgmt. advice to all Academy Operations team members outside of project management team
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading projects / programs
- 3+ years of experience leading teams
- Demonstrated project and program management skills
- Demonstrated international collaboration / leadership skills
- Demonstrated problem structuring / critical thinking / excel modeling skills
- Demonstrated executive presentation experience
- Demonstrated training skills
Desirable Requirements
- Multi-country people management experience
- Budget / P&L management experience
- Industry-recognized project management certification – e.g. PMI-ACP, PMP, CAPM, CSM, MPM, IAPM-CPM, CompTIA Project+, PRINCE2
