Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Psychological Support Service (PSS). She/he is also responsible to lead/supervise a team to implement the service plan and conduct system building of the Psychological Support Service; as well as to support Service In-charge and Head of Community Care Service on service development and related initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor the management of service by planning, budgeting, implementation and reporting of PSS is carried out in a timely and appropriate manner and is compliance with applicable funder agreements
  • Manage, lead and supervise staff and volunteers on operations and delivery of regular and emergency services and ensure the quality of services
  • Lead and coordinate drill and simulation exercises and surge capacity planning
  • Develop and implement volunteer development strategy for ensuring the sustainability of the service
  • Liaise with strategic partners to establish the emergency plan as well as to promote PFA trainings
  • Strategy, advocacy and partnership building to enhance the program implementation
  • Support peer exchange with other National Societies in Asia Pacific region in the area of Mental health and psychosocial support
  • Conduct trainings in area of Mental health and psychosocial support in emergency
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s) from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Social Work, Counseling and Psychology (preferred)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in social service sector, with 2 years of managerial experiences preferably
  • Strong in project management and sound leadership skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (including Putonghua) & English
  • Keen Internet user with high proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good at volunteer management, staff supervision and report writing
  • Excellent skills in community work and social networking
  • Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent, able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and under pressure
  • Good team players with excellent interpersonal and communications skills

 

Contract Period: 2 years (Renewable)
