Manager, RF Client Analysis
Commercial Banking – Global Trade and Receivables Finance
Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.
For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Manager, RF Client Analysis.
Principal responsibilities
- Lead and manage a client analysis team to conduct surveys / audits (either at clients’ premises or offsite) for the purpose of :
- Determining the suitability of Receivables Finance / Factoring facilities to corporate clients
- Assessing operation features of trade model of clients and ensuring clients manage credit, fraud and financial crime risks effectively
- Providing recommendations to business development managers and Receivables Finance facility approvers
- Communicating with clients on suggestions to improve the quality of transaction documents such that they are acceptable by the Bank for Receivables Finance facilities
- Review survey reports prepared by client analysts and ensure relevant facts and findings are reported with recommendations to facilitate approver’s decision
- Monitor regular client survey process and ensure that they are completed timely and followed with mitigating actions if necessary
- Take an active role in special projects including those specific to client surveys / audits
Act as a regional role to provide assistance and advisory to Greater China Region
Qualifications
Requirements
- University degree in a related discipline and relevant professional qualifications such as membership of HKICPA Institute
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance or receivables finance / factoring
Solid experience in onsite client audits or business advisory - Strong attentiveness to detail, self-motivation and an ability to work independently under pressure
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
