Responsible for preparing all reporting and analysis services and distributing stakeholders, and the compliance with professional standards, AIA group reporting policy and statutory and regulatory requirements- Support Senior Manager of the Reporting and Analysis Unit to ensure that all reporting and analysis services including month end, quarter end, half year end and year end reporting in relation to business partner support role are provided on a timely basis without compromising the work quality and comply with AIA accounting procedures and applicable accounting requirements.
- Lead the team and support stakeholders to oversee the recording & reporting of costs and recharges, analyse the costs and recharges, carry out monthly actual cost review with stakeholders and advise/design the cost center structure.
- Monitor the billing and recharge mechanism.
- Support stakeholders in budgeting process and drive the discussion with stakeholders in relation to recharge mechanism.
- Support stakeholders in handling queries/requests from different business units in relation to finance.
- Monitor the overall financial position of business unit and assist local finance team in statutory audit.
- Develop and recommend areas for enhancements and improvements for the current systems and processes to meet the challenges and needs of stakeholders in relation to the business partner support role, management reports and analysis, local regulatory reports and analysis and financial statements.
- Engage and manage projects for any development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls, and functionality changes to existing systems in relation to the business partner support role.
- Responsible to ensure the development and update of Control Checklist and Training Materials as and when new enhancements are identified, implemented and communicated.
- Support the Senior Manager in resource planning, including budgeting and monitoring, recruitment and training, employee engagement and development, performance reviews and appraisals, and succession planning.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Reporting & Analysis team.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet financial reporting requirements and/or other projects.
