Job Description
Job Purpose: Assist Assistant Director to manage the daily retail and back office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Competencies and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ retail administration or 2 years’ multi-national administration management experience
Education: Bachelor degree preferred or relevant work experience.
Knowledge/Certificates: POS and SKU management; knowledge of back office retail operations, budgeting, warehouse and inventory control.
Language Ability: Cantonese and English (Mandarin an advantage)
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office. Knowledgeable with the following software: Time Manager, MMS, Kenexa, Techtrans.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth progress for both properties; fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficiency in operations. Reports to Assistant Director accordingly and promptly.
- Ensures that the retail operation complies with all Wynn policies and procedures.
- Works closely with the Retail Marketing team to support on the execution of promotional programs.
- Monitors market and competitor activity; maintains up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends.
- Supports the company owned stores to ensure smooth daily operations including the back office areas, stockrooms, and non-retail spaces.
- Manages the daily product replenishment process and ensures products are readily available for sale.
- Manages the daily operations and administrative duties of the Retail Administration office.
- Manages filing system for Retail Administration office.
- Works with the merchandising department and clerks to ensure purchase orders are generated, item files are created/ updated and necessary documents are submitted and followed up on.
- Coordinates with the warehouse department on non-merchandise inventory matters.
- Ensures cycle counts of company stores are completed and reconciled within set deadlines
- Collaborates with Security on loss prevention and all areas of risk management.
- Ensures store facilities and retail areas are impeccable at all times (i.e. housekeeping, lighting, electrical, utilities, store décor, etc.).
- Maintains all store equipment including office computers, registers and communication systems. Addresses store needs with relevant departments.
- Keeps accurate records of all required permits and inspection certificates pertaining to the stores.
- Ensures Wynn guidelines are clearly communicated and leased stores comply with set standards and guidelines.
- Works with other departments to approve and/or relay relevant renovations/minor works requests.
- Processes all leased store delivery, visitor and access requests.
- Processes all leased store employee related matters (vendor badges, cleaning schedules, etc.)
- Assists with all questions related to property operations and issues.
- Anticipates and addresses store related issues. Reports to Assistant Director accordingly and promptly.
