Summary

High profiled role spearheading our sales efforts to significantly increase our market share in the pharma/Bio Pharma arena, in Asia.

You will define and Implement the sales strategies needed to multiply our business many times over, in the coming years to bring us towards our target of building a strong foundation in Asia

Vast experience in direct selling to big multinational accounts, preferable in Pharma/Biopharma, strategic thinking, concept building and execution as well as proven Sales Management experience is essential in this role.

This role will, together with the dedicated data scientists, drive sales to named accounts, where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and account management skills are critical.

The global account planning and execution is made in close collaboration with the global account teams within Sartorius Stedim Biotech’s Bio Process Solutions division.


Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • In collaboration with the dedicated Market Manager for Pharma and Bio Pharma, define the sales strategy, to specific vertical market segments and go to market approach as well as taking full leadership in execution
  • Drive Data analytics Pharma/Bio Pharma Sales by ensuring that our customers experience the value of our solutions and by supporting the teams in key account management as well as by coordinating our regional data scientist team
  • Establish strong relationships built upon trust which allow, support, coordination and communications to our customers and other relevant organizational functions/divisions.
  • Negotiate strategic customer engagement agreements.
  • Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated, communicated and feedback given to the relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Secure visibility in pipeline, monitor progress, follow up and take corrective action if needed


Key Deliverables

  • Pharma/Bio Pharma go to market strategy in Asia
  • Deliver results by bringing value to our customers and grow sales significantly
  • Lead the he regional Data Scientist team

Qualifications / Skills required

  • 3 Years of experience in strategic sales and key account management in the Data Analytics arena based upon value based selling and long term relationship
  • Bachelor or higher business degree
  • Strategic thinker with previous experience in driving sales in Pharma/Bio Pharma
  • 3 years management experience in managing sales teams and highly technical experts
  • Demonstrates personal drive. Result focused and motivated to deliver
  • A strong team player with the ability to influence and build strong relationships
