Job Description

Position Summary: The Manager, Sales & Revenue Reporting is a critical member of the US Biologics finance team. The position will provide FP&A support for the sales and revenue forecasting and reporting process across all four Biolgics sites. This position will manage the sales and revenue forecasting and reporting processes for the Annual Operating Plan, monthly business reviews, weekly forecasts and the long-range planning for the US sites. This role provides financial decision support and analysis on a wide scope of operational and strategic matters impacting the achievement of the Business’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly revenue forecast consolidation process, standardizing practices across sites.
  • Coordinate the revenue reporting and forecasting activities within the US Biologics sites.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis focusing on commentary and interpretation of results to provide business insights.
  • Identify and document improvement opportunities, creating guidelines and directives; identify potential improvement based on best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges.
  • Provide support for special projects/analysis within the Biologics finance team.
  • Support the Vice President of Business Management and Global Proposals Team in meeting key operating & financial goals.
  • Biologics liaison for Global Commercial Finance Team and subject matter expert for SAC revenue reporting tool.
  • Partner with colleagues within the BU and division to drive both functional and business process improvements and productivity projects.
  • Work with the Biologics Business Unit FP&A team to prepare and present analysis and authorization for commercial opportunities.
  • Develop analytical models and tools to improve business decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate will demonstrate expertise in the following areas: financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, project management.

  • Strong business and industry knowledge and a history of business partnering as well as the ability to develop and implement robust financial processes to drive effective decisions.
  • The ability to identify and champion process improvements and create an atmosphere of continuous improvement through PPI.
  • Excellent written communication skills, along with clear & concise verbal skills, are essential. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to obtain buy-in at the executive level.
  • Proven history of building organizational relationships with internal customers, peers and operating partners across functions & geographies.
  • The ability to handle multiple assignments, work flexible hours and cope with the complexity of tracking and managing multiple, disparate moving parts
  • Excellent skills with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required; experience with Hyperion Planning or similar system is preferred.
  • Travel 10-15%
  • Job location preferred to be St. Louis, MO, Raleigh, NC or Needham, MA

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant background
  • At least 4 years of progressive relevant work experience within a global organization
  • 2+ years of business partnering experience
