The Amgen Capability Center Portugal will be temporarily located at the Maleo – Saldanha, Av. da República 18, 1050-191 Lisbon. We’re already gearing up to have our brand-new permanent office ready in the vibrant city center of Lisbon by the spring of 2022.

Manager, Security Development & Automation

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will manage the people, processes and technology responsible for all development activities within the information security team.

• Develop, support, implement, maintain and improve software programs.
• Identify inconsistencies in business workflows and possible scenarios.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify how the product team can create a product that would bring added value.
• Translate the business requirements into documented technical requirements, workflow diagrams, and scoping documents with functional specifications.
• Create & groom product backlog as well as building roadmaps, forecasts and metrics to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Coaches, mentors and develops a diverse team of IS security analysts and engineers, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
• Integrate front-end components into applications.
• Manage testing and bug fixes.

• 2 years experience in managing development teams.
• Working experience in an Agile/DevOps environment.
• Experience with Django, Git, Docker.
• Experience with GNU/Linux environments.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Experience with SQL databases (NoSQL knowledge desirable).
• Experience writing API/Project documentation (Swagger (OpenAPI)/Sphinx or similar.
• Knowledge of queue/worker-based technologies (Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS) etc.
