The individual will provide management with an objective, independent assessment of the internal control systems through the execution of audit assignments. The individual will also add value to management by providing appropriate business-oriented recommendations. He/she will assist the Head of Internal Audit with delivery of the overall audit plan and reporting to committees and management.

  • Execute audits and evaluate the adequacy of controls according to TW regulations and Group Internal Audit quality requirements.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes or key business risks and update the audit plan as appropriate.
  • Coordinate inspection or review performed by regulators, external auditors (for special projects, if any), and group providing assurance.
  • Prepare audit reports and participate in discussion of issues and remedial action plans with the appropriate levels of management. 
  • Report audit result to the management.
  • Follow up outstanding audit issues and monitor completion of agreed remedial actions by management.
  • Liaise with the control community and other members of the company to contribute to the implementation of an effective and efficient system of internal control.
  • Develop rapport with business unit management through regular communication of changes in business operations, emerging risks and potential issues, etc.
  • Take the initiative in improving self through classroom and on-the-job trainings.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties, such as preparing of regulatory inspection correspondences, assigned by the Head of Internal Audit in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
  • Great working attitude and passion of work and ability to work well with other functions and colleagues.
  • Execution of assigned audit projects with quality and within the established budget parameters.
  • Fulfilment of the required Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours
  • Feedback from auditee surveys and results of GIA quality assurance reviews, etc.
  • Relationship with management
  • Various quantitative / qualitative measures, e.g. time, quality, cost, feedback, etc., that are tied to the objective of the area of responsibilities
