• Key Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.
• Writing press releases and other media communications to promote products and brand. Prepare and distribute press releases.
• Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stakeholder views of the organization's agenda and accomplishments.
• Studying the organization's objectives, promotion activities, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
• Conferring with managers to identify trends and group interests and providing advice on communication decisions.
• Monitoring media coverage and prepare regular evaluation reports. Addressing inquiries from the media and other parties.
• Tracking media coverage and follow industry trends.
• Responding to the media during crisis PR events or negative incidents, managing PR issues.

• Qualifications
• Experience managing international media relations (online, broadcast and print).
• Experience handling a press conference.
• Ability to work on big strategic plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
• Project and budget management skills.
• Understanding of social media and solid experience working with agencies.
• Knowledge of marketing communication.
• Ability to pitch to international media and agencies.
• Ability to run global PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
• Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
• Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with online outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
• Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
• Responds well under pressure with the strict time limit.
• Quick and enthusiastic learner.
• Proficient in MS Office and international social media.
• BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of additional languages other than English is a plus.
