POSITION SUMMARY

The role holder will define what engaging, impactful content looks like and leads the Content efforts in delivering effective communication messages and assets to support the end to end customer journey, with the objective of helping customers with their decision-making process and ultimately, moving them further along the customer funnel.

We are looking for a talented and inspiring individual who is both creative and highly organized. The role holder will be leading the content planning process, working closely with Partners and other internal stakeholders to develop engaging and impactful content.

The individual will also manage the relationship and performance of creative agencies and third-party suppliers. This role reports to the Marketing Head.

PROFESSIONAL SCOPE OF ROLE

  • Turning content themes and ideas into impactful content pieces that support the entire customer journey
  • Work with stakeholders and creative agencies to identify the best medium to bring content to life and to engage customers. (Our marketing and communication activities are digital-focused and therefore the content medium ranges from social media post, infographic, website email to big production videos and microsites). Since we are in the education business, we also develop a certain amount of print collateral.
  • Working with SEO and Web Manager to engage in keyword and content trend research in various target markets and segments.
  • Mapping out content against the customer journey to ensure they meet business objectives.
  • Work with partners, etc. to ensure that content plan is at the heart of each programme marketing strategy.
  • Develop and enforce an efficient and effective briefing process for content planning and production, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure that the Content team acts as brand guardians for various partners.
  • Ensure all content plan maps closely to the campaign objectives.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Product and Marketing teams to ensure the communication campaigns align with other activities such as organic or paid advertising, website optimisation and face-to-face or virtual events.
  • Ensure campaign plans are documented and clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing the creative agency briefing process to ensure efficient delivery
  • Managing the relationship with creative agencies to ensure:
    • A proper onboarding process takes place with new suppliers.
    • Regular review and feedback takes place with existing suppliers

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  • Proven experience in creative content planning and production across different digital mediums (blog, infographic, brochures, print ads, display ads, social media post, video, email, webpages/microsite etc.). - Essential
  • Proven experience managing creative agencies. - Essential
  • Experience working on campaigns targeted towards Generation Z and working professionals in the marketing and technology domains. - Desirable
  • Experience in using a wide variety of digital marketing tools such as (Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google keyword planner, CMS etc.).
  • Has a creative flair in repurposing / writing content for various marketing channels.
  • A strong understanding of content marketing principles. - Desirable
  • A good understanding of digital marketing tactics - SEO, PPC and social media advertising. - Desirable
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask across different campaigns and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Diplomatic and calm under pressure.
  • Curious and innovative.
  • Great attention to detail.

Education : Masters in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, etc.

Prior Experience : 7-10 years; preferably in a B2B industry; Tech / Education Domain
