Assisting Associate Director – SAP to manage the strategic actuarial initiatives. Manage a sub-team in Strategic Actuarial Project team to deliver quality service, effective output in performance, strategic actuarial initiatives, and unfold team capacity in order to be Next Gen Finance.

Manage a team of staff to deliver timely and high-quality deliverables related to cross bases actuarial exercise

• Ensure timely and correctness of results as prepared by the team on cross bases actuarial exercise
• Ensure the compliance of various requirements from group office

Support cross bases actuarial exercises

• Deliver project plan, governance structure, track progress, and report to key stakeholder on a regular basis
• Collaborate with various work-stream leaders, e.g. Capital Management, Finance, IT, Investment, Risk to ensure smooth delivery of project initiatives
• Interact with key stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectation
• Deliver project / emerging actuarial exercise

  Derive insights and foresights across the actuarial value chain

• Coordinate and review results on cross bases actuarial exercise e.g. strategic planning/budget, etc.
• Prepare management deck to facilitate management in-depth understanding on key financial metric

  Digitalization of actuarial team

• Leverage next generation technology and digital solutions to improve actuarial workflows and processes to enhance efficiency to accelerate strategic objectives
• Derive insights and foresights across the actuarial value chain from advanced data analytic

  Support other actuarial projects as required by performing financial projections and profitability analysis for annual and ad hoc exercise

  Unfold team capacity in order to be more dynamic, insightful and influential

• Coach and develop team member
• Encourage team members to take challenge and facilitate growth

Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements
