This role will work within site Supply Chain with responsibility to lead activities of the Procurement team within the Site Supply Chain organization in support of all products manufactured at Amgen’s Singapore plants. Area of responsibilities include material requirements planning, master data management, inventory management, scenario analysis, and strategic resource planning in support of all products manufactured at Amgen’s Singapore Site.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
General:
- Advance ASM as a safe place to work.
- Develop and manage the GMP/Non GMP Consumables, Central Inventory, procurement team for Biologics manufacturing and synthetic manufacturing facilities and be accountable for their performance.
- Lead by example by exhibiting Amgen values and Leadership attributes.
- Lead Key initiatives in the area of Consumables and Central inventory
- Lead Raw material second sourcing
- Support NPI Raw material assessments on the site as well as out of the site.
- Serve as one of the primary interfaces with stakeholders at the site to the network.
- Ensure and execute procurement activities in compliance with GMP and statutory requirement.
- Drives Operations Excellence Culture in the organization via the deployment of various OE tools resulting in productivity gains.
- Balance between working capital and optimum raw material availability through seamless demand and supply planning and execution.
- Directs the day to day activities of the team. Lead and partner to resolve raw material supply issues that impact Amgen’s operations on a day-to-day basis.
- Manage and ensure material availability for assigned raw material/Consumables/Spares, supplier/category
- Assume role of Super user for systems
- Engage stakeholders within Supply Chain and other functions within the site and network to have functional alignment of plans and expected outcomes.
- Own and update procurement related processes and procedures/policies.
- Lead cross-functional projects, initiatives and investigations.
- Evaluate Consumables/Spares risks and recommends countermeasures to mitigate risks
- Support introduction of second sources to the site
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 3 years of experience directly related to the job
OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience directly related to the job
OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience directly related to the job
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of people management experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Demonstrated track record of people development where direct reports learn and develop their capabilities to enhance their performance and achieve personal or professional goals.
- Demonstrated experience in forming-leading-facilitating-inspiring teams
- Ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders in a cross functional; cross cultural environment.
- Ability to organize and analyze data and information accurately to identify relationships and detect patterns and trends to gain insights for decision making.
- Ability to generate feasible and efficient solutions to solve problems and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Ability to adopt a fresh perspective to combine ideas or information in new ways and make connections between seemingly unrelated fields to create new ideas and
- Ability to formulate objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with the long-term interests of the organization in a global environment. Capitalizes on opportunities and manages risks.
- Demonstrated experience in a continuous improvement role utilizing tools, methodologies and change management (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, Human Performance)
- Significant experience in regulated manufacturing or supply chain setting, with demonstrated full use and application of Standard Supply Chain and Planning principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in SAP/ERP planning environments
- APICS CPIM/CSCP certification
