Job Description & Summary

A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.

Our team is a client focused group that is responsible for positioning the PwC brand and driving long term growth. You’ll work with sales and marketing teams to drive consistency in executing our client relationship, and business development strategy, as well as driving our sales framework to help deliver value on key business initiatives.

Responsibilities TMT Industry and Pursuit support (50%) •Works with CNHK TMT BD Lead and China TMT Leader to update and execute the business plan for the TMT industry •Works with others in the Client driver community in China to drive the development of account infrastructure across key TMT accounts (e.g. CRM, xLoS account teams, account plans) •Supports subject matter experts and others in connecting with key TMT clients in Central/Shanghai (e.g. through working with them to develop talking points) •Develops and takes ownership for the client feedback program within the TMT industry. •As part of the wider business development team, contributes to best practice and knowledge sharing. Client driver (50%) •Support GRPs to execute account strategy, maintain momentum and work with xLoS teams to drive teams to the client. •Help xLoS teams identify issues and objectives. •Ensure account infrastructure is in place and functioning appropriately – e.g. account team meetings; opportunity tracking and revenue reporting; client events/regular touch points; follow up on opportunities •Follows up on opportunities with clients to ensure proposals are submitted on time; appropriate expertise is being deployed and deadlines are being met •Acts as a central point of contact for the account team in Shanghai and across the region; supports effective communication across the account team regionally – e.g. through developing account communications; ensuring information is shared •Manages ongoing client feedback process •Designs/manages delivery of the annual global client planning workshop Requirements Mandatory experience and skills: Education •Educated to at least degree level Work experience •Understanding of the TMT industry in China •Understanding of effective account/relationship management/ opportunity management and pursuit processes •At least 5-10 years’ work experience Personal characteristics/capabilities •Fluent English and Chinese/Mandarin (speaking, reading and writing) •Outgoing personality with well-developed social and persuasive skills •Flexible and adaptable •Resilient and self-motivated •Team player •Good presentation skills •Curiosity and hunger to learn – interest in building their understanding of the firm and its services, and in building their career in the region’s – and the world’s – largest professional services firm. Nice to have •Existing network of contacts that can be leveraged •Understanding of professional services firms (either through experience of working in one or by being a client of one) •Understanding of PwC •Project management skills
