职位描述

Purpose:

Anticipate the technical policy changes and understand its impact to GM’s business. Advocate GM’s position through the well maintained and developed relationship network with the key government agencies and associations to benefit GM’s business in China. Responsible for building up and maintain good relations with relevant government agencies, think tanks, premium universities.

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain close communication with key government agencies to obtain the latest regulatory information
• Provide GM inputs to influence China rulemaking
• To be the focal contact person on technical public policy issue
• Communicate with internal relevant stakeholders to align regulatory understanding and interpretation
• Support GM global regulatory team to interpret Chinese requirements
• Collaborate with external partners, associations, think tank etc.
• Present high-level analysis to the Public Policy Steering Committee for strategic direction and decision making
• Collect information and provide technical support to policy engagement activities

• Understand Auto industry business
• Fluent English and Mandarin
• Excellent written & oral presentation skills
• Listening to understand various points of view
• Able to identify & seize win-win outcomes
• Able to create in depth research reports and conduct analysis

Experience/Education:

• Sound background in auto industry
• Undergraduate Degree or above
• 10+ years work experience in public policy/ regulation/ government affairs area in MNC
• Knowledge and experience in the area of Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) is a plus
