This is an extraordinary opportunity for a highly motivated team lead with the experience and enthusiasm to help create Organisational intelligence and Agility within the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Services team, supporting the team in understanding business stakeholder needs and enabling them to rapidly adapt and respond to the changing technology and business environment. They provide subject matter expertise in a broad range of Infrastructure and application support disciplines.

Wintel/Citrix Operations Lead is responsible for leading and executing various projects and corporate initiatives relating to CSIS. Wintel/Citrix Operations Lead will act as an escalation contact for any pritioy issues. Detail analysis to identify root cause and resolve issues and provides guidance to staff working under their supervision. This role will work in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure AZ’s infrastructure support team continues to evolve.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Minimum of 13-15 years with Hands-on experience on implementation and management of one or more Enterprise Infrastructure operations and/or Application support solution.
  • Possess Technical skills to research and remediate issues involving infrastructure & Application support
  • Team management, a fairly distributed talent of infrastructure specialist & Infra Support engineers to ensure Service Support and Service delivery is not compromised
  • Must have a general understanding of enterprise infrasture areas like windows, unix/linux, cloud, storage & backup, network and applications like SQL, Oracle and Middleware.
  • Familiar with server hardware from HP, IBM or Dell , Cisco UCS
  • Collaborate with teams and meet expected service levels and exceptional user experience.
  • Proactively identify and report improvements to services within portfolio
  • Guide team members through all technical challenges and issues.
  • Experienced on IT Service management tools like Service Now. Good experience working in ITIL V3 framework. Clearly demonstrate experience in implementing ITIL principles and practices.
  • Should have experience in a validated environment and aware of GxP Or SOx requirements. Evidence of shaping innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organisation
  • Analytical thinking, multitasking and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A good team leader with proven experience in stakeholder management. Ability to guide and mentor team members.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving. Able to grasp and understand new technological trends / concepts. Experience working in a globally distributed team
  • Should drive deliverables via Lean and Simplfication
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to understand and apply complex concepts
  • Self-motivator and team player who brings a can-do approach

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent or achievement of recognized professional level
  • Experience with resource allocation, skills analysis, mapping and forecasting, Timeline, milestone planning and project management experience
  • Experience working with executive leadership stakeholders and creating and delivering executive level presentations
  • Excellent team-working skills (especially in a culturally diverse, demanding environment) and a willingness to get alongside issues, provide clear direction and drive results
  • Ability to set and adhere to high quality standards for all deliverables and be a collaborative member of a high-performing team.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree
  • Project / Programme Management / Infrastructure certifications
  • Experience working in a global organization where stakeholders and project team members are geographically dispersed.
