Responsibilities: 

• To explore possible applications of building information modelling (BIM) in the design, construction, completion and operation stages of URA’s project

• To check and vet the project execution plans and BIM models at various stages provided by implementation teams

• To prepare, review and coordinate BIM models for projects undertaken by the Authority

• To review and update the smart building provisions requirement for URA’s projects

• To conduct studies to explore opportunities on application of new technology in various stages of URA’s projects such as planning, design, construction, operation, etc.

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in building / construction discipline or other relevant discipline

• Possession of BIM professional qualifications from HKIBIM / Construction Industry Council

• Possession of recognised professional qualifications from MHKIA / MHKIS / MHKIE or other equivalent professional qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ relevant work experience with at least 4 years post qualification experience in the building construction

• Good knowledge and well versed in the application and uses of BIM platforms / software / rendering, such as Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks and Forge

(Candidates with less experience / qualification will be considered for the position of Assistant Manager.)
