Your new role – challenging and future-oriented With your valuation / PPA experience you have a leading role on Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) projects, working closely together with our Accounting Business Partners, the acquiring Siemens businesses and external appraisers in executing the PPA You discuss PPA results with management and prepare documentation for the external auditors; review and challenge any PPA reports from external providers You take the opportunity to also work on global buy & sell-side due diligence projects using your financial and accounting skills to perform financial due diligence procedures, complex financial analyses and valuations You advise on contract clauses around purchase price mechanism, closing balance sheet and relevant accounting policies and support in negotiation as needed You act as (one of the) key contact persons for the financial work-stream in close collaboration with Corporate M&A Establish, maintain and leverage relationships with other parts of Siemens worldwide (e.g. Corporate M&A, Legal, Accounting & Controlling and management of the acquiring/selling Siemens entities) establishing CF R TS as a reliable and trustworthy partner You contribute to digitalization efforts within CF R TS Assume a pro-active role in Siemens’ community of PPA and valuation experts Business travel is limited (<10%) Your qualifications and experience Strong academic history (degree in Business administration, Finance or Accounting) Several years of professional experience with a focus on Valuation and Purchase Price Allocation within a Transaction Advisory Services or Valuation practice of a Big 4 or similar firm Good knowledge of IFRS; a CPA, ACCA, ACA or CFA qualification is beneficial Experience in Business / Performance Controlling, Financial Due Diligence, Business Plan modeling and Valuation You bring an empathetic, honest, authentic communication style enabling you to easily collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors and navigate various levels of the Siemens organization (including top management) You are flexible, result oriented, proactive and have a hands-on mentality to get things done in a dynamic environment Strong communication skills enabling you to communicate at eye-level in fluent English with colleagues worldwide, across different businesses and management levels.
