We are a science-based, international biocide business with our Asian Headquarters based in Shanghai, China. Our group companies manufacture in 3 locations globally and has subsidiary offices in the USA and Europe.

An opportunity has arisen to join the company's highly motivated team as Manager of Logistics and Production Planning,to be part of our international expansion and business development.

The role will suit a driven manager with a real 'can-do' attitude, who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves and who possesses a proven strong background in Global Logistics and Production Management. The successful candidate reporting directly to the General Manager Asia as well as the Owner/CEO will assume direct responsibility and accountability for the organisation's Raw Material Planning/Purchasing, Production Planning and Global Logistics. Attention to detail, strong organisational and communication /negotiation skills, in addition to an inherent ability to work under pressure and multi-task are key for this role.

The successful candidate will lead a small dedicated team.

Responsibilities Include:

? Raw material requirement planning and purchasing

? Inventory management

? Production planning/scheduling

? Day-to-day management of global logistics, production and order processing

? Management of 3rd party suppliers/toll Manufacturers/freight forwarders/shipping agents

? Provide strong leadership & deliver long-term goals & change programs

? Build strong relationships with raw material suppliers and 3rd party service providers to ensure requirements across our production sites are met

? Provide guidance to the team in specialist areas including; dangerous/hazardous goods transportation and customs regulations ensuring full compliance at all times

? On-going analysis supplier performance

? Manage the procurement & performance delivery of third party haulier/ freight forwarders

? Direct daily interface/dialogue with customers and

prospective customers

? Order processing

? Liaise internally with regulatory specialists ensuring compliance at all times

? Provide support and guidance to the internal sales team on all operational matters including; quote enquiries/RFQ’s, shipping/manufacturing lead times, general pricing/product queries

? Working closely with our production to process demands and distribute customer sample requests

• Knowledge or experience of shipping dangerous goods is desirable.

• IATA of ADR certification would also be an advantage.

The candidates should have:

proven experience in supply chain management, especially in chemical industry.

bachelor degree

above 7 years career experience

good English communication skill including oral and writing
