What does the role involve?

Managing Associate - Production Mechanical Engineering

• Responsibilities

1. Support assembly line design with engineering team.
2. Manage engineering change requests according to Hilti standard.
3. Collaborate with product development team and plant engineers to ensure the pilot production and mass production for new product project.
4. Initiative improvement for industrial process to support new assembly line development and assembly fixtures.
5. Implement value stream mapping and continuous improvement planning.

Managing Associate - Logistics - Plant Manufacturing

• Responsibilities

1. Manage data in SAP system with data creation and daily operations.
2. Support the planning team for order forecast, delivery performance and demand fulfillment.
3. Assist to schedule the supply of spare parts/components to support production operations.
4. Create dashboard as per the business needs.
5. Coordinate with peers from other functions for improving and optimizing processes.

Managing Associate - Lean Manufacturing - Plant Manufacturing

• Responsibilities

1. Supports implementation of specific tasks assigned and ensures sustainability.
2. Implement 5S in the back office and the shop-floor.
3. Identify waste and moderates daily CIPs (continues improvement plan).
4. Execute best lean practices within the organization.
5. Drives/facilitates lean assessments.

Managing Associate - Supply Engineering - R&D

• Responsibilities

1. Develop potential suppliers through SWOT analysis.
2. Implement cost management and improve profitability through price management.
3. Participate in new product introduction and project implementation with supplier performance review and source new qualified suppliers.
4. Review suppliers’ performance on quality and punctuality of delivery.
5. Conduct comprehensive technical renew from raw materials to finished goods with the technical supply team.

Managing Associate - Quality Engineering - Plant Manufacturing

• Responsibilities

1. Help create and implement incoming inspection plan, inspection technology application and standardization.
2. Manage and archive incoming inspection reports and documentation.
3. Assist with updating information and data on production quality and inspection result in SAP.
4. Coordinate with production quality engineers for incoming quality analysis and offer solutions.
5. Execute manufacturing process, quality control standard and quality / process assurance for mass production.

Managing Associate - Design - R&D

• Responsibilities

1. Take an active part in developing power tools in cooperation with the development teams.
2. Carry out design work for components and accessories of new product.
3. Execute to archive technical documents and drawings according to Hilti standard.
4. Report all results and findings, and give recommendations for improvements, further actions and design adaptions to the team.
5. Review and clarify accuracy of specifications required from project management teams or technical project team.

Our management associate program is a 24 months development program that will rotate between various management functions.
You will also participate in multiple workshops and assignments as an individual contributor in Quality, Production, Technical Service, Lean Manufacturing and BU functions.

What you need is:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree with the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer

Science or Information Technology.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English and an understanding of German is preferred.
• Open-mind attitude, energetic and dynamitic.
• Available for international mobility.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, social and intercultural competences.
