Job Description

This position has the overall responsibility for the respective strategic, organizational and operational orientation. We are operating through an importer-distributor with multiple brands – political savvy, cultural adaptability and leading without authority towards a distributor organization will be crucial capabilities for a successful applicant.


Main tasks include:

  • Development and implementation of the country strategy – including KPIs, such as sales, profitability and cash flow
  • Ownership of e-/m-commerce business and further digital business models
  • Responsibility for the growth of customers, brand strength and market share
  • Building market competence in particular regarding consumers and the marketing possibilities of Ritter Sport, in close coordination with international market research
  • Management of the local team in line with Ritter Sport culture and standards, ensuring efficient and target-orientated processes
  • Compliant with and further development of financial and operational processes in line with Headquarter-guidelines


Your Profile:

  • University degree

  • Proven track record and experience with digital business models in an international context
  • Familiar with setting up FMCG marketing organizations
  • People manager: knows how to motivate and challenge people and to build up there competencies to secure future success
  • Knowledge of financial and operational processes
  • Entrepreneurial mind with hands-on mentality and proven track record in adaptability to new root-to-market and business models
  • Social and intercultural competencies and high ethical standards
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, German is of advantage
