Managing Director (m/f)

Job brief / responsibilities

• Management and growth of our client’s business in China with 150+ employees
• Full P&L responsibility for the 100% WFOE incl.

• Sales & Marketing
• Production
• R&D and Engineering
• Finance, HR, Purchasing

• Development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy for a continuing profitable growth and further market penetration
  Further development of the strategy (sales, markets, products, manufacturing) for China
• Introduction of new products into the market incl. localization strategy
  Staffing and personnel development
  Direct reporting to the German HQ

Requirements

• Technical degree or degree in business administration with good technical knowledge
• Sound leadership experience in an industrial business in China
• Min. 5 years’ experience in general or P&L management, preferably in automation, electrical engineering or machinery
• Strong sales background in combination with a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good knowledge of the Chinese automation industry and its applications (e.g. machinery, food & packaging, automotive)
• High self-driven motivation and proven entrepreneurial spirit
• Good command of Chinese and good skills in English or German
• Trustful personality living in the region
