Nord Anglia International School Shanghai Pudong is looking for a Mandarin teacher to join our supportive and caring Mandarin team in an excellent school. The teacher will have the opportunity to teach primary and secondary students, but will have a particular focus on Primary.

Applicants will need to

Plan and deliver lessons for Mandarin native groups.

Assign reasonable homework and give feedback on time.

Write student reports in line with department guidelines

Communication with parents as necessary

Undertake duties, CCA, and other daily school work

Support and participate in academic or interschool events

Share in the management of pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour of all children and in particular, those within your designated class group.

Maintain professional dialogues with colleagues concerning children, other colleagues and the school.

Applicants are required to

• Primary Chinese Teacher certificate or above
• College English Test-6
• BA of Chinese literature or above

. Good knowledge of Chinese literature

. 2 years'experience of teaching local Chinese text books

. Working experience in an international school or bilingual school

. Major in Chinese language and literature in a teacher training college

. Good written and verbal English communication skills

. Professional communication skills with parents and colleagues

. Classroom management

. Good sense of team work

. Technology strategies : smart board; learning apps
