Job Description

The Manufacturing Area Coordinator (AC) is a dynamic position with responsibilities in both the strategic and tactical spaces within Wafer Assembly Technology Development (WATD) Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD).

  • WATD is looking for a new Area Coordinator to strategically plan factory space, help define and manage install milestones for first-of-a-kind factory equipment, and interface with various partners to ensure on-time equipment readiness in a fluid environment.
  • The WATD AC tactically manages tool install timelines and ensures key milestones are met, coordinates and approves e-requests for the factory - ensuring impactive work is well planned and communicated and drives effective solutions to install related challenges as they arise.
  • The AC takes a leadership role within WATD to ensure tool install designs are thorough and scalable for our HVM partners, establishing the POR standard moving forward.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

  • Previously participating in tool install teams and extensive experience interfacing with construction contractors. Influencing stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Problem solving and solutions-based focus.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or engineering with 3+ months of relevant experience.
  • Candidate must possess the degree by employment start date. 

Preferred Qualifications

Possess a master's degree in a technical discipline or engineering with 6+ months of relevant experience.

1+ years of experience with one or more of the following:

  • Semiconductor manufacturing facility
  • Finance systems, forecasting/project finances
  • Basebuild Construction and Tool Install
  • Tool Install design facilities systems and organizations
  • Project scheduling and forecasting
