Manufacturing Associate—Cell Banking

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this dynamic role you will perform operations for cell bank production. Responsibilities include:

• Experience working in a clean room environment wearing full clean room gowning, hairnet and latex gloves when performing all work.
• Experience using a Grade 5 hood with adherence to aseptic practices.
• Prepare media per defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Follow GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with adherence to safety and compliance
• Perform and supervise critical processes
• Perform in process sampling of cell culture flasks and operate analytical equipment
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace
• Initiate quality nonconformance reports and draft and revise documents (SOPs, MPs)
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions
• Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (equipment logs, batch records)
• Available to work various shifts (day, swing, graves, weekends, holidays, 5x8hrs, 4x10hrs) based on the production schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Manufacturing & Operations experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Manufacturing & Operations experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and/or Life Sciences
• Works well with a team to complete tasks
• Takes direction well, follow documents and policies at all times
• Self-starter
• Build a positive work environment through interactions with team members
• Mechanically inclined
