Manufacturing Development Engineer ( Portland, OR) Identify production related design for manufacturing improvements ahead of implementation into manufacturing plants via concurrent expertise and guidance on the specification, acquisition and development of manufacturing assembly and vehicle validation systems to ensure compliance with all government, safety and security regulations. Develop vehicle test and repair solutions from concept, development, implementation, and support through training and data monitoring of system performance; support truck plant vehicle electronics, pneumatics and full vehicle production testing, production process controls, assembly process optimizations and automation projects. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Eng, Mech Eng, or related + 1 year exp as as group leader or project lead. Must have experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration, operating, supporting and developing test systems and software used for vehicle or component level electrical, pneumatic and functional test systems and hardware.
