Summary:
Pivotal person supporting Operations, who will share responsibilities for batch record requests and preparation, inventory management and production schedule maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize SAP in the creation of process orders for Production Master Batch Records and Manufacturing Formulation Records in accordance with the site Master Production Schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of Manufacturing Batch Records including record requests, pick-up, reconciliation, record preparation, and label management
- Assist Planning with management of Operations Process Orders by coordinating timely closure and/or rescheduling
- Support batch record completion for disposition through facilitation of information and organization of the batch record inputs
- Maintain Raw Materials inventory through use of systems such as Kanban
- Assist with inventory counts within the production suites and coordinates results with Inventory Leads and Procurement
- Perform inventory of the department owned areas and ensure follow up with any inaccurate inventory
- Assists with investigations when inventory discrepancies are discovered
- Assist with maintenance of production schedules
- Maintain up to date training records
- Participate in continuous improvement including daily and weekly sustainability activities for the MSS team
- Participate in shift exchanges, huddles, and 1-1’s, meetings
- Assist with helping/escorting visitors
- Ensure follow-up and escalation when needed
- High School Diploma minimally required. Associate’s degree in science preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or GMP environment preferred, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- SAP experience - preferred
- Basic purification principles: (i.e. Chromatography, Filtration, Aseptic practices, Formulation, Mixing) a plus
- Clean room experience a plus
- Understanding of processes and equipment
- Understanding ‘why’ and not just the ‘how’ of processes and practices
- PC skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Math skills
