Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer Individual will possess - Validation, Web Handling Process/Manufacturing Engineer Skills Required – Validation & commissioning experience, Process Improvement, The manufacturing engineer will play a critical role in product development, quality testing and manufacturing scale up activities at our world-class manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for working with technical team members to operate state-of-the-art production equipment. This individual will primarily work around high-speed automation/ manufacturing process equipment producing medical devices in a continuous operation environment. Excellent management & leadership skills are a vital asset for this position as it shall also be responsible for managing projects and programs. The manufacturing engineer will be responsible for communication between Siemens-Healthineers and outside suppliers to plan and execute the projects. Also, the manufacturing engineer will be responsible for making sure all the tasks are completed on time and Siemens-Healthineers has the resources needed to execute the projects. Relevant technical skills and knowledge will include Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, continuous improvement training like Six Sigma or Lean, and Microsoft Office programs. The manufacturing engineer will have a well-rounded experience handling medium to large scale projects. Should have strong program management abilities in order to effectively develop systems or oversee personnel. They should also have effective communication skills to interface with colleagues, customers, or vendors. The manufacturing engineer will need solid analytical abilities in order to evaluate Siemens-Healthineers and the suppliers requests and resolve design issues. What You Need for this Position. Prior manufacturing experience with statistics analysis, validation & commissioning production lines is required. Experience working within ISO 13485 environments is a plus. Ability to translate product attributes and outcomes to processing conditions and equipment parameters. Individuals will require a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, or another relevant field/ technical experience required field and at least 3 to 5 years of industrial work or a Masters Degree.
