Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Coordinate and ensure successful transfer of products from engineering prototype to mass production in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. Create and maintain work instructions to enable production correctly assemble the components and a final finished product quality. Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions to correct non-conformances on processes. Coordinate continuous improvement efforts through the implementation and application of techniques and Lean manufacturing initiatives ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Creating and maintaining routes. Creating and maintaining VWI (Visual Work Instruction). Check the instructions created by DCU and revisions. Discuss and agree with those production / quality the best methods to produce quality and timely products. Definition and/or development of processes, tools, machines and equipment necessary to perform production & assembly operations. Find information and data in different sources: ERP (Mfg/Pro), QT9, assembly drawings, specifications, Internet. Lead the new product introduction process from prototype to mass production. Apply analytical tools to the processes under evaluation by the team. Document actions arising from the root cause analysis and 8D problem solving. Support development & quality of products by providing input on FMEA, Control Plans, 8D Analysis and Design form Manufacturability & Assembly. Support cross training through development of traning matrixes for special processes. Identify training needs and propose training for manufacturing personnel. Work on the future implementation of other initiatives such as: KPI, Autonomous Maintenance, SMED and Standardization. Provide employees all necessary resources (manuals, tools, instructions, etc.) so they can operate in a fast paced environment #LI-MA1 Qualifications Requirements Ability to work effectively with others and be a participating team player. Pro-active & strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Knowledge on Lean manufacturing (preferable) Ability to compile technical reports, business correspondence and operational procedures. Understanding & working knowledge of blueprints, machining specifications, product specifications, and precision measuring tools. Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks with dynamic priorities. Good verbal & written communication skills. Working knowledge of desktop personal computer (MS Office). Education & Qualifications Education: Industrial Engineer, Electro-mechanic, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineer or relate Engineer field. Languages: Advanced English knowledge Experience: Preferable (2) year.
