Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Analysis the process performance (e.g. cycle time, OEE,capacity) of the production line in order to set correct improvement target and optimize for cost, quality, delivery, etc.

2.Manage issuing, updating and visual management of process documents which are percent the shop floor per the SOPs or Control Plan of each product.

3.Design/validate new fixture and tools for NPI projects, sustain, improve and manage fixture to meet manufacturing requirement.

4.Assistance the process engineers to develop the process for NPI projects, such as equipment and tooling/fixture design, development, improvment and acceptance according to the process design
provided by process engineer;

5.Assistance the trail out of PPAP for new products in terms of guarantee the machine and process conditions are in line with process design of APQP and suggestion of process improvement but no responsible for process design which is the job of process engineer.

6.Physically follow the new parts production trials,validate and confirm that the trail out result can prove that the mass production meets product specifications, and quality targets for each operation.

7.Prepare and update process documents, like process flow chart, work instruction, and process specifications, JSA;

8.Lead or be Involved in the PFMEA, control plan development and updating;

9.Solve the process issues during the NPI project trials, like improvement on tools/fixture, optimization of process parameters,and updating the process documents;

10.Lean manufacturing implementation through cellular layout, Kaizen, quick changeover, standardized operation, Takt time, etc.

11.Manage, maintain the fixtures and lead new fixture design, validation, improvement;

12.Validate & release the new lines and equipments;

13.Assist with customer complaints investigation, be responsible for process problem solving;

14.Define DVP, validate for Engineering changes(process) and lead the change including document control;

15.Resolve the problems during normal production and response to find out the root causes and define the short term countermeasure and long term countermeasure and standardize it. And lead the specific projects of problem resolving;

16.Product capacity calculation and improvement;

17.Provide the technical support in TPM activities.Support the production team to issue the total productive maintenance standard and critical spare part list;

18.Provide process training to new staff, including operators;

19.Obtained training or self study to maintain knowledge and skills level to meet business development requirements;

20.Lead or be Involved in process continuous improvement regarding product quality and efficiency, waste reduction, and EHS;

21.Involvement and support 6S improvement, assist material flow system design and improvement with other teams;

22.Follow the EHS regulations of the company;

23.Implement the EHS requirement to ensure all action satisfied with TS16949 & OHASA 18000 requirements.


REQUIREMENTS:

1.Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, material (polymeror chemical engineering) or similar; 2.Working experience in automotive and/or high volume manufacturing industry; 3.Some experience working for a multinational company a plus;
4.Be familiar with quality tools (APQP、PPAP、SPC、FMEA);
5.Minimum of 3 year product / process engineering essential;
6.Familiar with Microsoft Offices Word, Excel and Power point;
7.Good communication skills;
8.Willing to work overtime;
9.Good sense and skilled for safety tools practice.
