Reporting into: Staff Engineer

Location: Marsiling Singapore (8-10 mins walk from Woodlands MRT and bus interchange)

*Possibility of renewing, extending or conversion to permanent headcount

Role and Responsibility

• Manufacturing engineer is responsible for product and manufacturing operation process throughout product life cycle
• Focus on value engineering on exiting products to reduce cost of components
• Propose or design alternative replacement to current parts
• Work with supplier on PCBA localization and functional tester design
• Provide engineering support in design change evaluation, material localization and higher level subassembly (HLA) outsourcing.
• Set up and maintain Bill of materials (BOM) and drawings in SAP, and manage changes through Agile.
• Develop and maintain instrument/subsystem test station for production.
• Troubleshoot PCBA and instrument failures

Role Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Test programming knowledge/experience (e.g. LabVIEW/TestStand, VC++, C#)
• FW programming knowledge (e.g. C++, Linux) will be added advantage
• Good troubleshooting skill in PCBA and instrument level
• Exposure to Application Software (e.g.Agile, MS Office, Trackwise, SAP).
• Good spoken and written English skills
• Periodic travelling required (for manufacturing transfer)
