The Role
This position is responsible for leading and managing the activities within manufacturing engineering function of Taicang Plant. Providing the development of manufacturing process to ensure consistency with company's profit and investment objectives. Lead the manufactory engineering process operation to match the objective of the company.

Principal Responsibilities
1. Responsible for varied manufacturing engineering assignments requiring a broad knowledge of engineering specialty. Including the manufacturing process flow/ factory layout development, implementation and optimization, operations efficiency/productivity and capacity improvement to meet company goals and customer satisfaction.
2. Act as a key function member in NPD, VAVE and other programs in Taicang Plant, assesses manufacturing process requirements to ensure the smooth operation in mass production.
3. Evaluates manufacturing process related issues by using the analysis and test data, and day-to-day process behavior measuring, to initiate root cause analysis and improvement actions.
4. Act as the leader or key member of plant/SBU level project, manage the project teams to deliver on results utilizing all aspects of the project management process (planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment).
5. Support operations to define Standard work/time(SOE) and develop SOP for each process or station, to ensure the technical process, document integrate and accurate, be accordant with the ISO9001, GB, ASME and other system requirement;
6. Lead plant Manufacturing Engineering team, mentor, coach and develop ME engineers to deliver the business result, meanwhile to drive the team engagement. Ensure the health talent pipeline and succession plan.
7. Interacts frequently with internal contacts (Regional Leaders in ISC, Operations, Engineering, Supporting Function) to successfully deliver products and services to customers.

Candidate Profile
In terms of the performance and personal competencies required for the position, we would highlight the following:
1. Bachelor or above degree, prefer major in industrial/mechanical engineering or HVACR
2. Minimum 10 years manufacturing and plant operations related working experience, at least 2 years management experience in MNC manufacturing facility as a manager. Automation experience is a plus.
3. Good application experience in project management, like the production transfer/localization/set up projects.
4. 6 Sigma or LEAN implementation experience is preferred;
5. English and Mandarin fluent, both in writing and speaking;
