In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Lead production processes and coordinate the materials supply chain and finished goods inventory processes for multiple devices and support products to satisfy customer demand. Also accountable for assisting the supervisor in maintaining quality system compliance. The primary internal customers of this position are the leaders within the RIST Operations organization, New Kensington, as well as the global Philips Respironics distribution network. This is a 2nd shift role.
You are responsible for:
Responsible for coordinating, builds, testing, and packaging of products in an FDA and ISO regulated manufacturing environment.
Interact with and be the primary contact for QA, QC, Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service, Document Control, and CDRLC about line yields, pilot runs, new products, reworks, ECOs, forecasts, and process flow issues.
Be responsible for developing and training assemblers, Inventory counts/cycle counts when needed, expediting components from stock, printing and placing documentation / re-certifications, scrap reporting, lot tracking, Kanban, material movements, rejects, scrap reporting, daily backorder reporting, daily sales reporting, and attending project meetings.
Record manufacturing performance data.
Assist supervisor with staffing requirements to meet build plans.
Have a working knowledge of departmental procedures and administrative activities.
Strive for continuous improvement, be team oriented, communicate suggestions and concerns, generate solutions, be flexible, and provide positive interaction and feedback with peers and internal departments at meetings.
Ability to drive Continuous Improvement in everyday actions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Education.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Prior experience working in a manufacturing or related environment, required.
Experience in assisting the manufacturing team with daily administrative duties (expediting components, SAP familiarity, tracking data) and project work
Demonstrated proficiency in reading, math, written skills, manual dexterity, and computer software knowledge (Word, Excel, SAP, related systems)
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, required. Ability to resolve conflict & problems, as well as facilitate solutions
Demonstrated of an Assembler Level 5 competencies or equivalent work experience
