Job Description
This position will contribute to the process improvement and sustainability initiatives in the Point of Care Manufacturing Operations located at the Siemens Healthineers Mishawaka, IN plant. Duties and Responsibilities Plans and completes manufacturing process related projects. Completes a range of Healthineers Performance Systems (HPS) studies, analysis and concepts, in the manufacturing operations according to defined targets and processes. Adheres to quality standards in Manufacturing operations and processes. Drives an aligned organization to maintain a strong manufacturing team with a healthy and effective employee relations climate. Ensures a strong sense of urgency and accountability within the manufacturing operations. Implements defined policies and guidelines, and define and ensure implementation of processes, procedures, methods and/or tools incorporating our Principles of Healthineers and the Healthineers Performance System. Always ensures adherence to relevant internal and local EHS-standards. May oversee - specific - activities of Manufacturing Operators, without leading the team. Develops and improves workflow processes to ensure all production targets (Quality, Quantity, and Delivery on time) are achieved. Ensures optimum machine utilization across multiple shifts. Evaluates and contributes to implementation of maintenance programs. Improves the clarity of technologically demanding and complex processes in an automated production environment for use with a technically diverse workforce. Job Demands/Competencies Dynamic environment with cross-functional interdependence Confident and effective communicator with strong interpersonal and team management skills, driven to achieve goals and exceed expectations Practical experience in methods such as: Structured Problem Solving, Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Agile Visual Management, Healthy Dialogue Methods, and GROWs Coaching Customer focused Team player with proven ability in leadership and problem solving Ability to inspire trust and influence others in a diverse population Understands the demands of a manufacturing environment and its needed support Orchestrates process improvements and productivity gains (e.g., Kaizen Improvement Events Skills and Qualifications (Education and Experience) Preferred BS/BA degree, in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 5-8 years of responsible experience in manufacturing. Experience in an ISO and FDA regulated environment preferred.
