Job Description

The role

Gain a deep insight into the solutions and equipment that form the foundation of our next-generation biologics facility.

A three-week induction will give you all the insight you need into how to prepare the kit, handle, weigh and dispensing operations, and use our Autoclave and Part Washer systems.

We will also ask you to monitor sampling and testing, keep process and results documents up-to-date. You will also use pumps, sterile tube welders, aseptic connectors and other tools to ensure everything runs smoothly. With sight of so much of the shop floor, you will also play an integral in our efforts to streamline our methods and processes, and become even more efficient.

The department

Our Singapore facility uses state-of-the-art bio-processing to create medicines used all over the world. As part of a 12-hour rotating shift, the team focuses on a range of readiness, setup, manufacturing processing and analytical testing duties. There will also be opportunities to take on Cell Culture and Purification activities.

This is an Agile environment where you will likely take on challenges outside your core duties. Plus, there is a real focus on single-use technology that requires less cleaning – giving you the opportunity to focus on more technical work. With both formal learning and on the job training, it is the perfect place to develop.

Your skills

An NTC/ITC/Diploma in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Bio-processing is essential.

Beyond that, up to two years’ relevant work – and any experience with our equipment and Emerson DeltaV, LIMS, TrackWise systems – will help. However, if you are ambitious, practically-minded and confident working in teams, we can give you the skills and platform to quickly progress your career.
