Job Description
Position Overview The Product Coordinator is responsible for general coordination of Siemens Product Orders from PO acceptance through shipment to customer. This position will report to Siemens Manager of Project of Project Management and serves as an introductory position to PM@Siemens. Individual responsibilities may include: Responsibilities Track and manage numerous Product Orders. Submit and track drawing transmittals. Submit and track change orders. Schedule and lead Spec meeting with team members to review scope and schedule. Submit Point of Contacts to customer contacts after Order Acknowledgement. Follow-up with internal team members as required to keep order on track. Submit standard monthly schedule updates to customer. Inform Master Scheduler of updates and changes, per team/department input/lean kit, to keep the schedule current. Work with Buyer and Material Planner to ensure parts arrive as scheduled. Verify readiness for customer Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). Assist in FAT: scheduling, kick-off, punch list resolution, coordinate lunch, FAT documents, etc. Coordinate shipment activities: packing list, SAP delivery note, destination/end user notification. Review and transmit product order documentation. Constant and consistent communication with customer, engineering, chemists, and manufacturing to ensure order deliverables are met. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 5 plus years of experience Previous product/project work required. Previous experience working in an engineering and manufacturing facility. MSOffice and MS Project experience required. Excellent organizational and communication skills required. Experience completing tasks on time and within budget. Ability to oversee numerous orders. Time management skills. Bachelor’s degree SAP experience. Office Location & Schedule Position is in Houston, TX Hybrid 5-day work schedule. Typically, 2-3 days a week working remote. Monday-Friday. In office is required for customer meetings and FATs which can impact hybrid schedule.
