Job Description

Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare? Siemens Healthineers are looking for a Manufacturing Scrum Master to join their Healthcare Diagnostics business based at our site in Sudbury, Suffolk. Recently celebrating 80 years of manufacturing excellence, our Sudbury site designs and assembles blood, urine and diabetes analysis instruments.

You will manage and deliver all aspects of Project Engineering and support the rest of the business in development of business growth.

You will run Project Sprint meetings utilising the Agile process on the Azure Dev Ops' tool.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Lead Sprints, Sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming
  • Meticulous planning, executing to the plan by rigorous tracking to meet all key milestone dates
  • Liaising with the wider business, creative teams, global stakeholders and external 3rd parties ensuring work packages are delivered on time and to scope
  • Ensure projects are managed with accurate project tracking tools
  • Responsible for delivering all projects to commitments for on-schedule, on-cost, on-budget and on-quality
  • Accurate status reporting of metrics like Phase Gate compliance, Cycle Time, Quality data etc.
  • Regular and effective communication with stakeholders of all levels, the team and the wider business, including the creation of regular project reporting documentation.

Other Responsibilities

  • Drive effective Process Management, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
  • Work with cross functional teams to support any Product safety issues that could potentially lead to a non-conformance
  • Support process improvements
  • Deliver improvements within the department and production areas to drive efficiency through the application of Lean methodologies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Agile experience essential - scrum master trained
  • Project life cycle experience - from start to finish including stand ups, risk management, scope management, retrospectives and a commitment to improve and grow the team.
  • Degree in an engineering related topic, and a managerial qualification
  • Sound knowledge of engineering principles
  • Expert in using Microsoft Project, and other scheduling tools
  • Experienced in fast paced manufacturing environments
  • Understand and experienced within Lean manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of CAPA and Issue resolution tools
  • Experienced in Word/Excel/Powerpoint
  • Experience in delivering new products and processes desirable
