Location/Division Specific Information

The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD), has innovative analytics, from Lab to Line to Field. The business serves a wide breath of industrial sectors including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, environmental, process minerals, mining, coal, cement and metals, as well as academic, government, safety, and security. This position will be based out of our Oakwood Village Plant in Ohio. 


How will you make an impact?

The Assembler Technician II will utilize mid-level skills to assemble instrument components, sub-components and electro-mechanical assemblies. They will perform soldering, fitting/mounting, alignment, adjusting and repairs on parts and equipment. In addition, they will read and interpret detailed schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring schematics. Work is done in conjunction with other specialists and under supervision.


What will you do?

  • Assembles products in accordance with daily / weekly production schedules.
  • Able to assemble entry-level soldering of components to circuit boards, switches, connectors and face plates
  • Interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Perform accurate wiring techniques, including harnessing terminations and connectors.
  • Follow established work processes, procedures, standards, and methods.
  • Uses various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
  • Perform manufacturing tests and written documentation as the need arises.
  • Maintain equipment and performs housekeeping duties daily.
  • Will be asked to perform warehouse and various other tasks as assigned
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related work experience in manufacturing, electro mechanical assembly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Internship from a trade school with applicable skills, preferred


Experience

  • 3+years of manufacturing assembly experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Read, write and understand English
  • Strong attention to detail
