Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is to assist the sales organization in UK&I zone with execution of segment marketing activities, targeting agreed key market segments, business strategy, target audiences as well as business and marketing planning The Segment marketing Executive is responsible for primarily working with the local C&I segment manager and Field product managers in Zone, the Push and Pull sales team, as well as the wider marketing team, to activate and creating marketing assets and campaigns. Active contribution to the creation of local business strategies for the focus segments, in cooperation with local Sales teams and Segment managers Utilise content management tools to deliver upon agreed segment and product plans Set up SMART objectives, execute upon a comprehensive marketing plan for each supported industry segment and target audiences Support the development of Consultant partner program (with input and support of the Installer partner program, panel builder partner program) Track the results of specific marketing activities, and ensure high ROI ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work closely with local field product managers, segment managers and sales teams to understand the market, key customer segments and their needs and challenges, to support the development of value proposition and marketing strategy for these customers and markets Execute upon the focus segment strategies for UK&I zone, through direct and channel marketing activities Work closely with EMEA marcom teams to identify relevant campaign topics and personas as well as message map development Support the local C&I segment Manager and FPM’s in defining integrated and multi-channel marketing campaigns for the core segments, ensure their alignment with the overall business goals and business strategy Develop/localize marketing content, campaigns, and programs targeting focus customer audiences Execute the campaigns in cooperation with other marketing team members (channel marketing, digital marketing, FPMs) Ensure continuous tracking and optimization of campaigns and tactics to achieve the highest ROI Support the realization and follow up of key segment events Responsible for successful cooperation with the relevant central segment teams and Bus Deploy sales enablement and training programs in cooperation with local field product managers and the sales team Provide channel partners with customizable demand generation content and sales tools to help generate demand for Eaton products Be the main contact for the Divisional content marketing teams regarding relevant product content Be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the Consultant program, following initial set up Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Exposure in marketing or marketing communication field. Experience in B2B is an advantage Proven organizational skills Experience in demand generation campaigns, digital marketing, and ROI responsibility Experience working with international cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment Proven track record in creative project planning, project management and working to deadlines What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
