Job Description

The person will ensure that the proposed designs, our proposals and new products adhere to marine system requirements. Familiar with international and industrial best safe practice.

Responsibilities

• 
  Preparation of Marine System PFD and P&ID with system & control description written in English.
• Preparation of Heat & Mass Balance report for cooling system and heating system
• Manual Calculation to size the capacity of marine equipment, LNG cargo equipment, safety/control valve, specialty tems and line sizing etc.
• Gap Analysis against CLIENT’s requirement and CLASS Rule (& International regulation)
• Performing the CLASS Rule and regulation compliance study
• Able to do equipment type selection/piping material & thickness selection/valve selection/specialty item selection
• Performing the FEED engineering verification
• Performing the utility consumption analysis & balance
• Performing the marine system optimization study
• Technical assisting the bidding project and R&D project
• Technical assisting the construction engineering team, pre-com/commissioning team
• 3D model review participation and assisting client’s comment closeout work
• Reviewing and commenting on other discipline key drawing such as one line diagram, electric load analysis, hazardous area classification drawings, PFP drawings, D&ID etc

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture or Marine (system) Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or chemical engineering ·
• Minimum of 3 ~ 10 year’s marine system experience on ships and offshore platforms. ·
• Experience on marine system in engine room ·
• Familiar with Dual Fuel Diesel Generator, Steam Boiler/Steam System ·
• Familiar with Class rule and international regulation such as ABS/DNVGL/BV/IGC/IGF/Class Notation related to LNG product ·
• Good understanding on pipe pressure drop calculation and flow distribution.
• Experience on LNG Cargo handling system
• Risk Assessment such as HAZID/HAZOP/FMEA
• Fluent in English and Chinese
