What you’ll do

As the Market Access Manager you will develop and implement price and reimbursement strategies for products in close collaboration with Market Access Director Baltic, Medical and Brand Managers in Estonia. You will also develop and build relationships with key external stakeholders within the pricing and reimbursement bodies and top key external experts in therapy areas. You will be responsible for translating MA strategies into implementation tactics, preparing health economic analysis, driving external communication and engaging relevant team members to meet customer needs.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as primary contact for handling of reimbursement and pricing processes
  • Acts as a core member of the implementation team
  • Interacts with different stakeholders to raise the awareness of need for investment in new innovative medicines
  • Gather knowledge of key external stakeholders and competitor’s strategy and future habits
  • Secures feedback and insight sharing through relevant channels into the dedicated teams within AstraZeneca
  • Prepares and submits local price and reimbursement applications (new applications, renewals)
  • Responsible for relevant dialogue with the price and reimbursement authorities
  • Ensures tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards.

 Essential for the role

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Market Access experience
  • Basic knowledge and experience in data analysis 
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Estonian
  • Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in Estonia
  • Proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships internally and externally
  • Structured and organized
  • Being able to keep deadlines without compromising on quality
  • High ethical standard and good knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing ethical framework
