Our client in this search is a global biopharma company.


Purpose of This Role


  • Gain & maintain optimal Market Access & Pricing and reimbursement conditions for company products in the country notably by developing further the reputation of the company locally.


Main responsibilities


  • Develop and execute market access strategy

Main tasks


  • Create and lead the strategic market access Plan for the BU / country in order to implement strategies for market access across the BU / country

  • Build relevant, solid value arguments with supporting health economics data (including budget impact and cost-effectiveness models)

  • Define pricing and market access strategies for brands that optimize the value of life cycle management opportunities and ensure integration into brand strategies and plans

  • Plan, develop and implement strategic programs and cross-functionally aligned in terms of access to Health Authorities requirements, in order to ensure that the company achieves strategic business objectives and financial goals

  • Implement and monitor local pricing & market access strategy ensuring alignment with global MA strategy Lead and guide pricing/reimbursement programs across the BU to obtain and maintain optimal price and reimbursement status.

  • Develop tender, contracting pricing strategy to maximize net price and revenue balancing short and long term perspective

  • Monitor local pricing / access issues, assess risks and opportunities and communicate to global & local stakeholders to develop appropriate plans

  • Responsible for the submission of prices and their implementation: applications for new prices or price regular applications for updating the prices of companies at the Country level.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of public relations and government affairs strategy as it pertains to the market access environment

  • Create and nurture close relationships with key local payers, decision makers (including institutional bodies), local pharma associations & patient advocacy groups

  • Remain current regarding the external market access environment, key trends and the impact for company products

  • Collaborate on regular basis with key internal stakeholders(Franchise, Market Access, SCCO HQ) to review and address their challenges

  • Ensure market access plans developed, implemented, and effectively administered are consistent with company’s corporate guidance and all regulatory, legal, ethical SOPs


Required Education and experience:


  • Healthcare-related or Masters/Business School degree or experience with regulatory bodies in pharma industry

  • High Level verbal and written English.

  • Proven track record of working with Pharmaceutical specialized products

  • Significant experience in, and knowledge of, oncology specialty markets with complex science and reimbursement

  • Experience working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.

  • Extensive oncology knowledge and experience in a Pharmaceutical industry environment

  • Successful experience in the launch of new products

  • At least 3 year experience in the field of Market Access & Pricing or 5 years in oncology marketing

  • Experience working on HTA submissions and in Pricing techniques

  • Strategic thinking (e.g. understand KOL needs, identify issues and opportunities, develop targeted multifaceted solutions, find ways to operate differently by focusing on high added value tasks)

  • Demonstrated capacity to build strong relationships across functions and to work closely with all people across the business

  • Knowledge of Taiwan legislation related to given area of responsibility and industry ethical codes
